Hi guys, thanks to your instructions I have leopard running great.  Ethernet worked right away, awesome.  I had a Vista DVD in the drive when I first installed, and it saw that, but I couldn't physically eject the drive.  After removing the disc and a reboot, it doesn't seem to see the SATA Pioneer DVD that I have.  Any of you guys experience this?

Secondly, I don't know if I have QE and CI.  How do I check?  I'm pasting some stuff below, might help.  Thanks!!!

Yeah, all the other SATA drives are fine. On my P5K Deluxe, there are red SATA ports and black ones as well (I think controlled by Jmicron). Its in the red one, but I'll try switching it around when I get home. Strangely enough, it read the disc that was in the drive when I first installed the OS.

loybond, the issues you are having with your DVD drive are well known. I have personally had this issue with both Pioneer and Plextor.

I bought a Samsung SH-S203B, and the problem was solved. At least DVD drives are cheap these days.
