miko88 Posted January 6, 2008 Author Share Posted January 6, 2008 Finally I have fully functional motherboard! The only way to boot DVD is using the ich8r controller with a DVD Sata Drive set to ide. I use for the installation the Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD with flags -legacy -v -f. After install do you have to put patch for audio only, the ethernet adaptor allready works. All work, also firewire! I'm really happy! ericsante Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Hey all, I have successfully installed hacintosh on many boxes, however I am trying to install on this MOBO and I am having some issues. I have a 250GB Maxtor SATA drive and a LiteOn SATA dvd rom. I set the Onboard PCI Device JMB363 SATA Controller to enabled and set the controller mode to IDE. However when I boot with boot options of -legacy -v -f I get a message from the AppleVIAATADriver: Still waiting for root device, this message just repeats.
