Speakers will not mute. Headphone jack works but sound also comes out of speakers. I just patched the AppleHDA.kext (got the codec dump by booting into BT3 and "cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt") and moved the Info.plist into the kext. Than I repaired permissions and deleted the cache. I am going to be keeping the AppleHDA patcher program, so if anyone needs 1.20 just email: DL200010@gmail.com codec_dump_codec_0.txt Info.zip AppleHDA.kext.zip AppleHDAPatcherv1.20.zip ioreg.txt

(1.16 1.17 1.20) i got all the components in sound prefs like internal speakers and line out. my line out is giving a very very faded sound on full volume on both computer and speakers. internal speakers dont work at all or it just to low for me to hear. ive attached my codec dump from linux. thanks. YureZzZ
I did every thing according to instructions. Dumped codec, drag-n-dropped it on the turtle (not the frog :-) And it ruined my system - after kernel panic, I've boot to single user mode and deleted AppleHDA.kext, still system wasn't able to boot. Taruga said that I should upgrade the kernel, but it is not possible. I'm using voodoo kernel (big-up for developers!) latest available version. And this is the only one kernel which works on my machine. About the machine: Asus Eee PC 900, iDeneb v1.3 (Leo 10.5.5), ALC662 ver 1 codec. On my lappy it is impossible to get any network (ie LAN, WiFi), so I need at least sound to enjoy this "macbook micro"! I won't give up!!!!!!!!
