SticMAC™
Firstly use AppleHDAPatcher_v1.16 with STAC9227_83847618.txt file you will notice that it removes the Azaliaxx.kext(this is your problem) then when you have rebooted you use STAC9227_0x83847618.zip to replace the two kext file in /sys/lib/ext, chmod, chown, rm kextcache and reboot you should have everything working OR I see Taruga has a new installer on his post, try that..... sticMAN one step closer to hear the sweet delicate sound of thunder.system intel pentium d 3.4 ghz processor, intel d946gzis mb,1gb ram, acer tft monitor, nvidia 7100 grafic card,40 gb ata segate hd,sigmatel 9227 audio os- osx leopard 10.5.0 till now sucess-------, first copied files from stac9227_83847618_testing.zip, Open up Terminal and type in the following QUOTE sudo rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext QUOTE sudo kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions Open Disk Utility and Repair Disk Permissions. ALC883Installer is not working either (tried with all 4 install options). I can get Internal Speakers working using AppleAzalia (with volume control), but I would rather use the headphone out jack. Is there any way to patch AppleAzalia so it uses the line out instead of the internal speakers? Patcher Version used: ALC268test5 System Version: Tiger 4.10 obs: Headphones full working, speakers crackling. Some hints about this codec: 1. in Ubuntu it works only with ALSA 1.0.15 2. In Windows XP it works only after having installed modem and ethernet driver (!) 3. Azalia kext gives control on audio volume, ALC268test5 doesn't. Linux codec in attachment. May ioreg be useful?
