Scott V Saunders
Hi, I have tried installing about 5 difference versions of OSX on my laptop and I get the same error message once the install has completed, its the com.apple.boot.plist error, I cant find anywhere that will tell me what it means that what to do, I have seem a post with regards to this on another site, i think it said that you needed to edit the boot file but there was no instructions on how to do that and what to type or do, I am at my wits end and if I am honest, I am about to give up on this project all together, I have tried burning disks at lower speeds, different iso images, different options on the install screen but still the same message comes, the breakdown of my machine is below. Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li1818 Laptop C2D 1.73 1GB DDR2 RAM 160 Hard Drive Intel GM950 Display. Is there anyone that can help me? Thanks P.S tried tiger and leopard and the same message on both. Scott V Saunders
I have actually sorted it now, excellent, it seems that the chaps over at OSX86scene were pretty hot and told me what to do - its dead easy and I wish that I have found out this simple solution before. anyway - thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73291-comapplebootplist-help-meeded-urgently/#findComment-518014 Share on other sites
