splintah Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 hey i know there is a thread only for the the p5w dh motherboard and leopard and i read through it installed the mckill files http://mckill.ca/ but still no audio On Startup the Erorr pop up “The bal bla Libary ALCinject.kext” can’T be used.. i am rather new to this i installed the brasilmac leopard via the flat image install downloaded the kext files put them in the folder repaired the disk rebootet any hints to resolve this ? also someone said "for sound just copy over your working AppleHDA.kext from tiger & repair perms Shows (as it did before) Line in, Mic in; Line out, Headphones, Digital out" could someone upload that tiger appleHDA.kext file please ? the attached images show what my disk util spits out every time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/72974-p5w-dh-audio-on-leopard/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

onemanstrash Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 I had to remove the ALCinject kext and the AppleHDA kext before installing the Alc882. Repair permissions before rebooting.
