Pyro2927
three things. one, when i turn my laptop on, i automatically connect to my home network (MSHOME) automatically and i can get online, but the airport icon in the corner stays empty (the blank quarter circle icon) and it says 'no network selected', but everything is connected. i guess its more cosmetic than functional, but id like it fixed. two, any time i change my power settings, like setting it so the screen never turns off even on battery, all the settings reset any time i shut down and start back up. third, when i shut down, the OS shuts down, but the fans spin all day long. if i restart, it restarts perfectly, but again, none of my power settings are saved. please help anyone!! o, and im running leopard with the ToH RC2. I have time machine working with the proper IO networking kext. any ideas?!?! thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/72933-airport-problem-powermanagement/ Share on other sites
azaraphale
check that the adapter settings in networkpreferences.plist are the same in preferences.plist. en0 or en1 depending on the adapter you use.
