acero
hi, i realized lately reading docs that this 5906 is the only card that use a different register to restart/reset/halt cpu. all other broadcom card use 6804 register but 5906 use 5100 and 6890. bge, linux use these. if y download bge source code ,you see these register and reset value. that s only my opinion,i might be wrong also... and bge/linux use memory access ,write mbx direct witch is impossible with apple kext ...and osx so no chance to mod this driver,it will never work..... Hacktrix2006
I am going to give it a bash, found that the driver linux uses is for the 5700 so i am going to have a look at that driver myself and give it a go to see if i can get it working. Hagar
Closing topic to stop floods of people going "are we there yet?" "I can test" "it works in linux" and all the usual mindless spam. If anyone gets something working despite the memory access issue, they can start a new topic. And sure enough, it has happened: New Topic for driver Edited May 30, 2011 by Hagar Solution found
