Slice
Hi all! Today I have tryed AGPGart 2.7 + IOPciFamily 2.4.4 Results: AGPGart 2.7 + IOPciFamily 2.4.4 + GeForceGA.plugin 1.4.58 = Blue screen without cursor AGPGart 2.7 + IOPciFamily 2.4.4 works without QE/CI. rjstrat
Hi Slice, Thanks for your wonderful work, it is greatly appreciated by all Have you heard of anyone with good AGP_Base value for i865g ? ID:80862571 Slice AGP270,AGP267,AGP265f I've tried all from your faq, most go thru to end of boot sequence and stick on black screen with mouse curser, and only 0xe8000000 gave multi colored vertical lines, but able to make out desktop underneath. After trying other values with no success, I've gone back to 0xe8000000, but cannot repeat vertical lines, just black screen with mouse again. I have device resources from windows Everest - don't Know if it helps Also attached ioreg and dmesg with AGP_Base: 0x10000000 10.4.11 Tiger, Slice AGP270, Slice IOPCI 2.44 Thanks, rj
Slice
2 rjstrat I think a better AGP_Base for you =0x08000000 The project is suspended until I get hardware OpenGL for me. I need your OpenGL application's crash log!
rjstrat
Hi Slice, I went back to 0x08000000, still no boot to GUI, with GUI AGPGart doesn't load. If you give me procedure to generate open gl crash, I will test whatever you need. Thanks again for great work, rj

rjstrat
Hi Slice, I've been through entire console tree, the only crash log I have is for DVD Player. All that I can find is the info I gave in previous post. Xbench open gl test and Chess both show only white screen, but do not generate .crash.log, open gl extensions prog opens, runs software open gl test ok, but crashes on hardware open gl tests, still no .crash.log. What am I doing wrong ? , these apps don't work, but never generate .crash.log. Help!

Slice
For nVidia users. I recompile AppleFlashNVRAM. Don't know if it influences on somewhat. If Yes we may be needed to correct it for AGP mode.
aitikin
Just FYI Slice, the AppleFlashNVRAM allowed me to boot into a gui with both 2.6.7 and 2.7.0, but it doesn't give me opengl, even with all the GeForce bndles and kernel extensions. Anything I can give you that may help? EDIT: I should point out that I have a GeForce 6600GT.

Slice
If you have software QE/CI then AGPGart 2.1 and 2.2 is not work! Read FAQ.
ttinsb
sorry, i forget to mention: The FAQ says: "1. Look GA.plugin/info.plist. You must edit it to..." Sorry, but i don't find a GA.plugin Folder. I have a Folder "AGPGart.kext. Inside is a Folder "Contents" with a File called "Info.plist" and a Subfolder Resources which contains also a file Info.plist. Which one have to be modified? "2. Aperture size must be 64Mb or 128Mb. Else - software QE only!" Is this a BIOS Setting, or a setting inside of AGPGart or somewhere else? Sorry for my stupid questions.
