Restarted. And let me explain what happens in detail once my system boots with the agpgart: the system boots and then when it looks like its about to start up both screens turn blue then after a little while the left screen turns black(right one stays blue) and the mouse cursor appears and I can move it around and from one screen to the other. (but... you said your UI performance in xbench is 48, mine is over 135, there's a difference) try yoga or bach's flower therapy and pc efi, and compare, you are the master... no? bye (note for other users: agpgart v.2.4.9 is working for me with pc efi v8. it supports natively only a few video cards [with bootloaders on v6 or adding device id's in com.apple.boot.plist on v8], the most close to a real mac, in this case a radeon x1600 pro) ioreg.txt

Deep respect 2u but I still think that you are not right. I made all possible for Intel AGP bus according to Intel documentations for 865 chipset and AGP3.0 specification and month ago said you: "You really have working AGP driver, check all other Video drivers". Look at your ioreg and izmael's ioreg. Is it the same? Compare CycloneFR | | | | "CFBundleIdentifier" = "com.apple.kext.ATY_Wormy" | | | | "aty_properties" = ({"value"=0,"key"="PP_GFXClockGatingEnabled"}) | | | | "IOPMStrictTreeOrder" = Yes | | | | "IOMatchCategory" = "IOFramebuffer" Izmael | | | | | "CFBundleIdentifier" = "com.apple.kext.ATINDRV" | | | | | "IOPMStrictTreeOrder" = Yes | | | | | "IOMatchCategory" = "IOFramebuffer" You have slow UI? This is natit settings or PCEFI. 2 all AGPGarp can't solve all problems with graphics, it is only accelerator. First of all check do you really have working full speed hardwareOpenGL in PCI mode, i.e. without AGPGart. Second - how much the AGPGart may increase your graphics. cyclonefr
just normal im running ATY wormy driver from 10.4.10 (ATINDRV) meanwhile he runs ATINDRV .5 (older, and text are blurry in high resolution) that explains the clock difference. Anyway i was running ATINDRV .5 for a while didnt change. I guess all the other registry are identical twins right? (ive deleted Natit if u were wondering about it). I still stay on my position that WE have the same OPENGL result under OPENGL extension benchmark (i even got 10 points more in all category u can check on the tiff ive attached above). For me it never worked that's for sure, from the first day i was trying with Joblo, then CSoft then with you Slice. Something is missing defintly. My brother has a Macbookpro with X1600 if u want i can show you the gap between AGP and PCIE under opengl extension benchmark to proove you it has nothing to do. I'd like to understand (and check) how Izmael had 4 times better score under UI meanwhile i had better score under Opengl extension benchmark. Anyway believe or me, take more tester, no 1 is having I865 working for sure + AGP.

U want I check other ioregs settings? I can. Their differ! I still stay on my position that WE have the same OPENGL result under OPENGL extension benchmark (i even got 10 points more in all category u can check on the tiff ive attached above). OpenGL essential uses AGPGart. Both fork as AGP bus settings as Gart table. In ur dmesg I saw good AGP settings, in ur ioreg I saw that gart table is in use. Half a year I check it trying to find solution for my Radeon9000. You know as I carefully check all bits in the driver. As you have good working glviewer test you have working AGPGart. The problem is in video driver. Joblo wrote a perfect driver. I proved. I had doubts in all letters, in all digits. No missing. Real Mac is not Hackintosh. The big difference is in EFI. For example Radeon9000 works on real mac with QE/CI. On hackintosh - never. I'd like to understand (and check) how Izmael had 4 times better score under UI meanwhile i had better score under Opengl extension benchmark. Anyway believe or me, take more tester, no 1 is having I865 working for sure + AGP. Version 249 downloaded 123 times and only 4 bad reports. Version 260 is beta, dowloaded 36 times and only 1 bad report. All these reports with nVidia AGP. I have no any method to check what is wrong for it. UI is bad because of SCROLL method supported by FrameBuffer driver i.e. ATY_Wormy. I am running 875 chipset and can tell you it doesnt work. Standard set of questions: where is your ioreg and dmesg? Are you using PCEFI? Are you sure that nvinject is good for AGP video? Have you working QE/CI w/o AGP? Forget AGPLight 1.0! cyclonefr
ok we disagree anyway slice u may have forgoten to see izmael is having same result with n without agpgart and UI= 140 even in PCI mode so something is weird.
