Ok i think i have some of my issues resolved. i used the

ATINDRV

ATIRadeonX1000

 

from the installer from the first page.

 

and then the file

ATIInject from

Paul_atix1700_1056_G2P that was in a previous post.

 

And this seemed to work for me. but only at one resolution. ;)

1440x900

is this the resolution it should be at?

 

Ill attach the files.

 

I still cannot seem to get my bluetooth working and i am not sure that the sound is right because it just does not seem to be as loud as when i am in windows.

at least u can left me a message telling me that is hard or laborious or something else.

so i take my impression that only advanced user can manage this system and nobody else is welcomed here.

Thanx! I will do it 1st if you say it might work.

 

If it does not work. do this to reverse it.

 

Boot with the -s switch

then type in

 

what it tells you to to mount the HDD

 

then type

 

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

 

and then

 

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/Atiinject.kext

 

Reboot and then start with the switch -v -F

 

if you still cannot get in then do the same thing as i stated above but for the other to files in the extensions folder.

 

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ATINDRV

 

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonX1000

 

 

I think the key file for you is the ATIInject you may want to find a few different version of the file and use that in combination with the ATINDRV and ATIRadeonX1000

 

Its all a big pain. but once you get it its time well spent.

P.S. Strange thing, but I lost my sound in iDeneb 1.4 with 10.5.6.... This is a 1st time it doesnt work with a standart audio drivers.

Try removing the HDADriver from the Extensions directory.

the installer may have installed two HDA drivers. i think i left the AppleHDA there and just removed the HDAAudio driver.. i am not sure what the actual driver name is. i will check when i get access to my Hackintosh later today and i will post back. either that or get the 882 driver from the 10.5.6 DVD. i will post both tonight.

I found something when i run traktor (DJ Software) sound quality so creepy lag and wave graph run to slow,But when i try to move cursor around display wave graph run smooth and test on CI/QE software mode,sound audio is normal. when watch the movie or listen music sound is little lag

 

What you think about it?

The sound lag comes from AppleSMBIOS that reports a wrong frequency of cpu and memory.

 

Righteye , there is a kext for the ethernet(asus g2p) or is oob ? (the timemachine bug cames from the ethernet)

Pour shutdown => change the kernel :D ....

The dvi out work ? (the vga work)

The network works OOB and never had problems with Time Machine, but you can try fixing the issue with the file from my first post

AsusG2P Dual ...Yes it works but you need the EDID for DFP1 and you have to boot with it connected ... DVi and/or VGA.

I've solved that. Only this driverpack has helped me. So the sound started after installation, but only God knows what a part of this pack helped:)

Try AppleSMBIOSefi that you can found it on this forum ... or a patched AppleSMBIOS that suits with te specifications of your system. Try this one AppleSMBIOS.kext.zip

It's show 2.67 Ghz that's not the right frequency,Should be 667 Mhz (This is reason my audio lagging?). Do your System Profiler report right bus speed frequency?,righteye.

yes ... on mine shows the correct one

also i thought that might be a good idea to have a post here about all the KEXT's we use and the version so that we can make better presumptions about what gives headaches.

found one more thing! I use display maestro to decrease color depth. thousand color low sound lag and low pop. when try 256 color sound audio is clear no lag no pop. So strange?

 

P.S. test with "traktor "and "deckadance"(DJ Software).

i never use programs that enchase the system and are not for hackintosh because for sure are not working correct. i let the patched system to do what is suppose to do and i do not use add-ons

you can try that to ... ;)

those software you use for music should work on a system that has a good patched audio driver and applesmbios. also consider important to have a good iopcifamily and appleacpiplatform

I found somebody who have a the shutdown working !! but on asus G2S! ( i'll send you more information).

Your installer don't work, i open it with pacifist and i put all the kexts in kexthelper and now more thing are working !

 

For me these elements are not working

Card reader (not important)

Reboot (Half important)

The sound out-lines ! (very important)

The s-video out

 

Ps: i'll installe an ssd hard drive because the 5400 rpm is too slow ! Can you send me your mark with Geekbech ? I have 2896.

Yes i installed IntelICHx fix ... is neaded because we have ICH7

No webcam but is recognised by system as USB 2.0 Image Capture

No TVOUT

On mine the sound out-lines are working

Reboot working

Ethernet working

 

I'll check why the installer doesn't work 4 you.
