Restore partitions

I Installed linux on my mac by using bootcamp so the mac partition has splitted, and then I used the linux partition application on the cd.

 

Now I want restore it to just one partition couse linux s*cks , is there a non-destructive way to do that

Back up your OSX partition with CCC, then boot from your install CD and run Disk Utility to reformat your hard drive back to one partition. Then, boot from your backup drive and copy the OSX partition back.

 

If you want to preserve your Windows partition and it is in FAT32 format, use CCC to back that up too.

if you only got osx and linux installed, just use bootcamp to restore

installes osx, linux and windows:

 

1. delete linux and windows partition with http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

2. restore volume with bootcamp

I think, also, if you boot into an XP or Vista install disk and delete one of the partitions, you can then return to OS X, launch Boot Camp assistant, and restore to a single partition.
