Any ideas how to fix this?

I finally got it to boot into the bootmanager etc and gets to the blue background for the GUI, the mouse cursor shows up, and the disk goes crazy, then silent, then crazy intermittently and never succeeds in posting the menubar or desktop.

I'm using a P5LD2 with a geforce 7300LE that all worked beautifully with Jas 10.4.9

I've repaired disks, permissions (though disk repair keeps giving me the same "repaired disk header info" report)

Any help is greatly appreciated as I've given up

Hi,

if you upgraded your Tiger to Leopard, you may have a problem with APE.

Look here:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306857

If thats not the case try booting with the DVD and deleting this file and reboot:

/var/db/.AppleSetupDone

If that doesn't help then try installing it again.

I fixed by starting up WITHOUT the s-video cable connected. After booting, if I connect it again, detect displays, then turn OFF mirroring (which for some reason, is enabled by default) it works fine.

THen on reboot it wants to try and mirror again and i have to restart the com w/o s-video cable hooked to tv.

I also installed old dual 0.2 Natit, not sure if that helped
