cyclonefr
Ok so PCIe X1000 series work fine but not AGP. (blue screen loading OSX) Just put ATINDRV.kext from 10.4.10 and IONDRVSupport.kext from 10.4.7 into your Leo installation, and of course natit (the one you used in Tiger is fine) and voilà framebuffer + QE/CI support with your AGP card in Leo ! Btw if you still don't have QE/CI, don't forget to add your product id into System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonx1000.kext/Contents/Info.plist Have a nice day Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68384-ati-x1600-pro-agp-support-for-leopard/ Share on other sites

The Baron
my x1600XT works on Leopard, but no resolution selection and some artifacts on the screen.Any clues? Did you use BrazilMac's guide & kexts? If so, replace Natit.kext with DiaboliK's NatitX1600.kext - chmod/ chown/ reboot - done... svsmurf
Ok so X1600XT works fine but not Pro. Hmm, my X1600 Pro works just fine with full QE/CI using Leo ATI drivers w/manual edit for pci id + the same Natit as I used in Tiger. KlyX
@caclonefr: can you tell us which file (updates) exactly you downloeded for the IONDRV and the ATINSDRV? I'll need them tonight. What I have is a 10.4.7 DVD by JaS. That's it ;-) Ah, and a 10.4.9 by UphuK ;-) Thanks and greetings KlyX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68384-ati-x1600-pro-agp-support-for-leopard/#findComment-498302 Share on other sites
ميكائيل/ميكا
And here are the files you need, to get a ATIRadeonX1600Pro (256MB) workin'. http://rapidshare.com/files/68289891/ATIRa...600Pro.zip.html Install: Just move/backup originals, copy the new ones to /Sys.../Lib.../Ext.../, fix perms (manually), done. Note: Don't install the AppleI386PCI.kext unless you know how to add your DEV ID to it, to get AGP working! Btw, i dunno if it will even work for you, to get AGP with that kext, so... -=Michael=- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68384-ati-x1600-pro-agp-support-for-leopard/#findComment-499465 Share on other sites
