rob356
I have two hard-drives. One is Windows XP, formatted in NTFS. The second is Mac OS X 10.4.9. Mac OS X will not even attempt to see the windows drive. In disk utility the XP drive doesn't even show up. For my boot setup all I do is use my BIOS's boot menu to change the hard drive boot order. BTW XP can atleast see the OS X disk, if not readit, but that's not an issue. Please Help Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66324-mac-os-x-cant-find-mount-or-even-see-my-windows-disk/ Share on other sites
fleisch
Maybe you XP drive is SATA and your Mac drive is IDE? in that case your mainboard might not be fully supported. maybe there is a fix for it...what mb are you using? blubbbla
are the ide drives bigger than 128gb? cause this is a limitation in mac os x. it can't handle hdd's which are bigger than that. rob356
yes, both are 250gb, that would explain why disk utility sees my disk as 128gb. And why the amount free is bigger then the capacity. So I can't access the other drive from OS X?
