DeathChill
My motherboard, ECS 915G-A(1.2A) is 100% compatible. Sound (C-Media 9880), ethernet (Realtek 8110S Gigabit), graphics (GMA900), USB, SATA, everything. Right out of the box after a generic DVD install. Though you have to plug the speakers into a specific sound port. EDIT: The C-Media 9880 DEFINITELY works right out of the box. You just have to change where your speakers are plugged into as only the front port and one of the back ports work to output sound in OS X. nemattoad
The c-media 9880 on my Asus P5GDC Deluxe works perfectly with 0 tweaking required, although only in 2 channel mode (green jack). The marvell Gig-E controller however does not work. Seems that realtek's piece of doodle ethernet chipsets are actually coming in handy with this project. it switched s**t for doodle Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/660-posible-mainboards-100-working/#findComment-19243 Share on other sites
