TimeMachine
Windows XP Home Edition cant run VMware becuase it doesnt have ISS (Internet Information Services). Is there a version of VMware that doesnt need ISS? Can someone tell me what to do. cbmkgd
From the user manual, one can read on page 34 that XP Home Edition (SP1 or SP2) is supported as a Host for VMWare 6 Workstation. The best way to know for sure is to try and install it. ~pcwiz
ISS is only required for VMware Server, but still try installing it anyway if you are planning to. VMware Workstation does not require ISS and can be run on Home SP1 or SP2.
