I have a pentium intel centrino 1.7ghz with 1gb ram, 80gb hard drive. Im using Uphuck 1.4i.r2 and the sleep function puts the pc to sleep but when I try to get it out of sleep it turns back on but I do not see anything on the screen..all is black. Any fix for this??

Not only this is an issue, but if I close the lid of my laptop while i am logged out, when I want to log back in, I have to type the password quickly or pressing any other keys will freeze the computer. I cant leave the computer on all the time because it gets very hot and I have already received a fan overheating error.

I guess with OSX you have to shutdown the laptop each time you are not using it..since the sleep problem exists. Nice operating system..sucks it wont work properly on all pc's. Guess Im going back to SUse 10.3

So you don't have 10-15 seconds to spare? Wow, you must be a busy man. :P

How can I get to install Titan or Natit..I'm using uphuck 10.4.9 1.4i.r2. I downloaded the latest natit and it would not install, it just went away when I clicked it.

Oh and I'm not lazy but I used to just closing the lid of my pc and then it would go into either hibernate or suspend. But for now I just turn it off when Im not using it.

Something so much easier i just figured out completely by accident.

If you enable Hot Corners to Sleep Display and when you experience the issue of the display not turning back on, all you have do is move the trackpad pointer (even though you cant see the mouse moving) to the Hot Corner and then back off of it and the display will wake.

To Enable Hot Corners:

Apple Icon >> System Preferences >> Desktop & Screen Saver >> Hot Corners... (Button) >> Change any of the corners or all of the corners to "Sleep Display"
