melman101 Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 Has anyone been able to fully run Mac OS X86 on a dell D420? My first problem is after i install it, it runs like {censored}. I can't click anything. it seems like something is wrong with the computer, like the processor isn't keeping up or something? Anyone able to get sound/video/network working? I really want to run it on this machine, but i have been unsuccessful so far in my attempts, and am back to using XP. Please, any help to get me away from this vile OS (XP)? linux4guru Posted October 6, 2007 Share Posted October 6, 2007 I have seen this problem happen on the D620 Duo Core processor. - Disabled on cpu in bios - Installed Intel Speedstep Systems runs like a snail. I don't know if your D420 is a Duo Core or not.... but try to install it without the Intel Speedstep. Good luck!
