Hot~Line
So. I wanna get into the Hackintosh world but I got no clue about the Hardware I should buy. I also made a thread in the german board section yesterday. But it seems like there isn't anyone who could help me . First of all I want to be as cheap as possible because of if I like to work with Mac OS X I wanna get a Macbook. The second important fact is that I need hardware that is supported native or at least needs no massive editing to run. I just did some research and thought about those hardware components: Mainboard: - Asrock ConRoe1333-D667 CPU: - Intel® Pentium DualCore E2140 CPU-cooler: - Arctic-Cooling Alpine 7 Ram: - Crucial DIMM 2 GB DDR2-667 Kit HDD: - Western Digital Caviar SE WD1200JB Boxed (120 GB; IDE) DVD burnerr: - Sony NEC Optiarc AD-7170A (IDE) Floppy: - NEC floppy drive What do you think about the config? Should I stick to a SATA HDD and burner? Is the mainboard okay for cpu overclocking? Anything you would change? Thanks for your help !

Hot~Line
I thought I need a floppy drive to load the SATA drivers when I install windows as example. Am I wrong?
voxxdigital
Many current motherboards doesn't need floppies anymore to install Windows to SATA drives. Actually there are not much motherboards out there that still need load drivers from floppies to install Windows to SATA drives.
