Slab_Bulkhead
I'm a newbie at installing OSX on a PC, but I do have uphuck's 10.4.8 installed successfully, except for Marvell 8056 LAN support. I've done a lot of searching in this forum on this subjest and have found several possible fixes, most of them centering around the file /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon.kext/Contents/Info.plist. I think I have to modify the plist in Terminal, but I can't located the file anywhere on my OSX disk. I get to the IONetworkingFamily.kext and there seem to be no subdirectories after that. Now, I come from a basically PC background, but I'm very interested in Mac. Any help for this 51 year old noob would be greatly appreciated! GA965P-DS3 (V 2.0) motherboard, BTW. Slab_Bulkhead
*bump* I think it's more a question of me not knowing the correct way to edit the plist file in Terminal.
