Paranoid Marvin
i looked. didnt see any topics on this before i posted. i cant seem to get this stupid key re-attached. I did it myself, can't remember how I did it, though... Just fiddle with it, try and look under the other keys and you'll work it out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61286-re-attaching-a-keyboard-key-on-powerbook-g4/#findComment-434729 Share on other sites

aqualeviathan
I'm repairing a powerbook g4 right now and the proceedure for reattatching keys is o position them directly above where they belong and pressing straight down. If the little tabs under the key are still there, they should lock back in place. lkeyjr
well. the white little bendable thing is what wont attach to the key. it attaches fine to the computer but wont attach to the key. i dont understand. all the prongs are still on there. im getting frustrated enough to possibly just take this in to the apple store tomorrow. U.C.
Take another key out carefully, and see how those white things are attached to it. Now take those white things off the keyboard base and attach them similarly to the orignal removed key. Now attach this key back to keyboard base. This is what I did when my key came off my Dell.
