domino
"In the year 2032, Big Brother is alive and well. The World Coalition Government has annexed 80% of all nations and tracks your every move. While those in the cities maintain an acceptable level of comfort at the expense of freedom, the poorest masses exist at the fringes of a toxic wasteland and at the mercy of the Syndicate - a nefarious web of criminals run by Boss Muro. "You are Konoko - a young girl unaware of your past and your destiny. In the midst of the corruption that surrounds you on all sides you must unravel the mystery of your own identity while fighting to save humanity from extinction." (from G.O.D.'s Oni Site) http://www.godgames.com/game.php?game=g3eb0518116ae5 One of the great oldies I loved in Windows works and very quick on OSx86. domino
What do you mean "no details on the face"? You mean just no eyes, mouth, nose, browse? Or you mean the game made 4yrs ago doesn't match the quality of todays games and character features? HotShot
I remember this game. A few of my friends came over to my house to download the demo, as I was the only kid in the area to have Cable, and not dial-up. I liked this game a lot back in the day. Maybe it was because I was using a real Mac back in the day, and good games were few and far between. Fishdaddy
I have a new MacBookPro with the dual core. I cannot for the life of me get Oni to work. Can anyone help. I download the 1.36 update side loader. I have the origional game for ox9, I even tried re-dropdrag installing it from the CD. Nothing has been working. I also tried running the game in all the resolutions this page says it can handle. It says on the wiki that Oni works with Intel macs so please someone tell me how. Thanks. Specs are: 2.16GHz intel core duo 1.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM ATY,RadeonX1600 If you need more specs than that tell me. Thanks. Fishdaddy
Well for me it just does the screen change and then goes black for a second. Then I am back to the finder with a message that it unexpectedly quit. Are you installing it differently than I am, or is you classic copy a newer version? The installer also does not want to run on OS 10.4.7 intel. so I just drag the game folder from the CD to the HD. BRP
I have it working great on my MacBook (playing from the HD). Glad I missed out on this when it came out, because my computers couldn't handle it back then!
