Im using vmware 5.5

Amd 64 3000+ "Venice" SSE3

installed anti tpm patches

usinf a usb Saitek Eclipse keyboard and an usb logitech MX518 mouse

I have keyboard support in boot prompt and can pass boot parameters

Then I get to the screen to choose my language then i have no keyboard.

Ive tried patching the iso with the PS2 keyboard kext but that cuased Kernel panics

Any advice on how to get this working

Its a usb keyboard but i dont know if vmware emulates it as PS2 or USB

Edit:NM i was reading the vmware help it emulates it as ps2

So anyone have a good way of patching the iso for PS2 devices without cuasing a kernel panic?

I had the same problem when I used the direct Maxxuss patches. Then I used the most recent JaS patch that is in this forum, after that it worked like a charm. I was then able to install fine.

I think it has to do with the kext files that support keyboard and mouse.
