Tim_
Hey, we have a HP PSC 1205 printer connected with a w2k3 server and shared. I can connect to the server / printer and stuff, but I must select a driver in the HP list, but mine isn't in it! When I choose the default driver, the document comes in the windows document list of the printer, the status is printed but nothing comes out. Please help, thanks, Tim. RyanThaDude29
I'm having a similar problem with my Canon iP4200 that's connected to a Netgear print server. It seems that these drivers are designed for direct connection to the USB port which when it's connected via USB it works flawlessly. The Gutenprint drivers (formerly the Gimp-Print) might work for you but they fail for me.
Tim_
Yeah, I've also tried to download the drivers from the HP site, but these are pure for connecting the printer directly to the USB port. Also when I installed the driver / software the printer-driver still doesn't appear on the driver-list. You can select a driver from a file, but I have no idea what extension the file must have? Tim_
Found a solution for this . Click, first install the Foomatic-RIP package and the ESP Ghostship, then install the drivers for you're Mac. Works perfectly for me. Here's a list with supported printers...
