kernel panic upon booting the hacked 9a499 dvd

i get a panic when i just boot the osx dvd.:

really odd thing is i originally installed it fine, then i tried adding the audio kexts (they didn't install right) from 10.4.9 and then i got this panic on boot and couldn't do anything about it so i tried booting the dvd again and then i got the same panic. quite odd because that means it's my computer not the dvd. so just in case it was something on the hard drive (since that's what i changed first) i went and reformatted it. still panicking. i'm thinking maybe it's my memory?EDIT: forgot my specs: dell dimension 4600 (spawn of satan) 1.5 gbram, 80 gig hdd, 250 gig hdd, 2.93 ghz socket 478 cel. d w/ sse3

nevermind. i fixed it. booted hiren's boot cd (best recovery cd i've ever seen. it's on the green demon if anyone wants it) and blanked my cmos (i was having some bios errors screwing up etc before too) and now it boots fine

wow ur the only person ive found thats fixed this! ive had this problem for ages and no one else knew how to figure it out. i had a look at hirens cd, how does it work? this problem is getting really frustrating
