Colonel Ingus
Sorry. Try again. We just bought a 1.83 with SuperDrive, 1 Gig memory, Built-in Gigabit Ethernet, Apple Remote with Front Row (which you wouldn't have on your pieced-together-self-made-computer) Bluetooth, AirPort Extreme, AND iLife ’08 for only 469 You need to get out more

Colonel Ingus
Brand spankin new in a factory sealed box, complete with the full 1 year Apple warranty I need to buy two more and after I order them I'll tell you where they are next week The point is that Macs can be purchased for very little. If someone tells you that Macs cost too much, run away from them as fast as you can because they obviously know little about Macs and are holding on to old myths
jgrimes80
i would never buy a Mac Mini, you could just build a micro ATX pc with a 945Chipset with a Core 2 duo, 500GB HD, 2GB ram, add a wifi card seen as a airport card, Bluetooth all for 531.94$USD. try and upgrade a mac mini it would be over 800$USD I didn't see a Window Vista/Xp/2000 license or another OSX equivilent mentioned... ??? (Right, Linux? sure..) How about a CD-RW/DVD drive? Oh, don't forget about a warranty... Thermal paste? Cooling system? Fans etc.? A case? A power supply? Yeah, and your time is worthless too....??! I know, what was Steve Jobs thinking bothering to entice a low-end market?! People who are part of this market fit one of two categories: 1. Don't need a computer 2. Don't make enough money <- 1100 (20" iMac 1190 w/ tax) say last 3 years.... $35/month is too much?! 3. OR BOTH!
