They come in four price ranges: 20" - $1199 : - Intel C2D 2.0GHz Processor - ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB VRAM - 250Gb HD - 8X DL Superdrive - 1Gb 667MHz DDR2 RAM - New Apple keyboard 20" - $1499 : - Intel C2D 2.4GHz Processor - ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB VRAM - 320Gb HD - 8X DL Superdrive - 1Gb 667MHz DDR2 RAM - New Apple keyboard 24" - $1799 : - Intel C2D 2.4GHz Processor - ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB VRAM - 320Gb HD - 8X DL Superdrive - 1Gb 667Mhz DDR2 RAM - New Apple keyboard 24" - $2299 : - Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.8GHz Processor - ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB VRAM - 500Gb HD - 8X DL Superdrive - 2Gb 667MHz DDR2 RAM - New Apple keyboard The above is the final retail specifications for the new iMacs. This does not include BTO options. Read below for more info. I still love my "old" 24, but this new incarnation is like having the most beautiful girl you ever knew show up at your door with frosted hair and a tighter sweater. BJMoose Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 They look real nice and the 2600 Pro will be a nice add, but I was hoping for less cosmetics and more content. I'll probably still get one, but I was really wanting at least one eSATA connection or a pci express slot for expansion. cabron Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 i was thinking the keyboard white keys are sucks in my opinion it doesn't match with the new imac aluminium/black glass maybe a "black keys replacement" could be made by some 3rd party accessories sellers? or apple take note of this and release the new slim keyboard with black keys? well anyway the probably version i will can get is the 20'' one... I'm sure they tested both versions with people before deciding on the white keys. The key size is nice too. I LOVE where the power button is, very Apple-ish Just wish it had backlighting on the keys. However you can't really complain when you see how little they charge for each version of the keyboard. They could easily have charged much more for them. I still prefer the previous gen white Apple Pro Keyboards. The idea that a wireless keyboard must be for a portable machine and thus not need a num pad and must include a function key is misguided. I want the same full sized keyboard, just without a cable. I agree with you Shimms, but I don't think they do it just for portability. All companies do this now. The new high end Microsoft 8000 keyboard doesn't come with a number pad either, and it costs 2-300.00 Their thinking is that the number pad is redundant since it already has a number pad on top.
