When I install the integrated drivers there is a kernel panic. Without also. I have to delete with Macdrive all x1000 extensions and then I can boot. The problem is when I install the 10.5.1 driver from this thread it runs only in the software mode. = I think only people with kalaway are in trouble with the new drivers...What is your opinion? I think you have a point, i also used kaly, and needed to remove the X1000 also before i could boot, with this driver in this thread i can boot, change reso, but no CI/QE and i really want QE/CI Also verry funny thing, only the sapphire seems to make problems, we all last posts have sapphire card : Sapphire Ati Radeon X1950Pro 256MB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I need also the hardware mode because the software mode is for nothing! -__- I can't use the Iatkos or else because the Kalyway imagi supports the raid mode from p5k-e = I can use OSX with a 200GB HDD at the controller and Windows with 2*200GB in Raid0 mode at the same controller!!! (and then i named 2 brands) i might be barking up the wrong tree here, but if the driver is based of the r580 core, would this be the issue why it wont work for r570 cores ? You have to install the 1950GTx driver then you have to install only the x1000.kext from your package an then it's fine. Sleep mode doesen't work because the fan is then very loud.
