Hey,I'm completely new to this item, I've installed Leo4AllV2, and the 10.5.2 driver for X1950Pro, got the files, but wjere do I put them? The're now in my download-folder. I read the CLI-lines on page#1 of this topic, but I guess I have to put the files somewhere else then the download folder?
You download driver and unpack package , open folder and open file "load.command" and write password in terminal . Auto run reboot .
Very nice, i've seen that on the "boot cd" topic! Congratulations.I've tryed to load your drivers with DFE but it dont work. Do you think you can do something about that?
omg . i try gfx string . If no work , maybe conflict lol .

Hey Bronya,

It works! (had to run the load.command in both folders)

Only thing: I've got two Acer AL2016W's (dual monitor 1680x1050), primary is detected well (as Acer AL2016W) and gives right resolution, secondary is detected as VGA screen, no option to choose 1680x1050 in a list with many other resolutions. How can I change it?

And QE is not supported according to system information. Any way to change that?

Thanks in advance! You did a great job.

Hallo Bronya, problem(s) solved. Fixed resolution with DisplayConfigX. Fixed no CI/QE with jccool and your drivers. (First the jccools one, then the bronya right over it). But, the last time I forgot to put the original (jccool) ATINDRV.kext back in place, so stayed with Bronya's, but no problem whatsoever! What does the ATINDRV exactly do, e.g. what's the difference between jccool's and bronya's?

FYI, also changed from Leo4all to kalyway10.5.2 (I do like the spinning wheel startup!) The update to 10.5.4 stops at est. 75% with no warning at all, just the update screen and nothing more....

Hi all,

Running Fresh Retail leopard 10.5.4 with (All Updates) and changed the following kexts (dsmos, Intelcpudisabler, Alcinject+applehda, applesmbios, jmicronata), MOBO= Ga-ep35-Ds3R, F2 bios, pentium dualcore e2180

After figuring that the videocard was a 1950pro 256mb, tried to install your (ati9e17 1054) package:

This package made 2 monitors work (dvi+hdmi) but NO QE and NO CI.

After that, tried your (ati9d34 1053 package) put the kexts OVER the 1054 ones,

This package made 2 monitors work (dvi+hdmi) and QE and CI + Sleep/wake <<<<<<<< ALMOST GOOD

Only problem is that videoplayback is very CHOPPY, from mov to avi, from 480p to 1080p h264, ONLY DVDplayer plays DVD good.

The difference between the two packages is that the 9e17 packages LACKS 2 files compared to the 9d34package:

IONDRVSupport.kext

AppleNDRV=folder

Do you have any idea?

Ok, this is my experience Bronya. The Machine is an Intel E2200 on a Gigabyte G31 mobo with X1950Pro PCIe graphics, Leo4All Distro. Full specs below.

I'd run into problems with GL errors when starting second Life. The Leo4All V3 was installed with : 9.2.2 Modbin Kernel, 800 MHz hardcoded SMB, ICH chipset option, Built in 19X0 support, Azalea codec, no NIC kext installed. NIC driver downloaded from Realtek website.

I did the removes as stated in your first post, and installed the driver for 7280 and OSX 10.5.2, as Leo4All is 10.5.2.

After the machine rebooted, I got a blue screen, two black lines on top, and a mouse cursor. Everything else was gone.

After swearing a lot and damning Bronya to hell (several times), I reinstalled Leo4All V3, this time selecting 9.2.2 modbin, 800Mhz Hardcoded SMB, and only ICH and Azalea as supplemental drivers.

Predictably the system booted in 1024*768 with no GL support whatsoever.

I then just clicked the .command on Bronya's driver pack, and rebooted. I changed nothing else whatsoever. The system rebooted and came back with full accelerated GL support and no glitches whatsoever. I then installed OSX tools and Netkas' serial code kext, NIC kext and that was it.

Since then SL works brilliantly, Toast 9 Ti causes no more issues, all my harware works and the software for my camera and multifunctional installed with no issues.

The system is fast and very responsive, no artifacts or driver issues whatsoever.

Now I wonder what would happen if I took it to 10.5.4, but I daren't :)

Thanks Bronya !

Found a bug in the 9e17 package from Bronya. You have to edit the info.plist ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin search for "10027280-0000-0000-0000-000a27898d3e.aside" > change into "10027280-0000-0000-0000-000a27898d3e"

then the 9e17 driver is working fine in 10.5.4 without the 10.5.3 package

one BUG left only movies played in quicktime are very slow. Playing movies with VLC player or Front row in combination with Perian 1.1 works smooth , even 1080p movies coded with h264. .mov, mkv, avi

am having issues with quitime playback too though not as mentioned above. i got an efi string for this card and i get full support with the atiradeon100.kext from the 9e17 package but quicktime playback is lacking some color quality(like 256). everythings else works fine jus quicktime. if i use natit it works fine alround. anyone have an idea what i need to change?

see attatched files, am running 10.5.4 retail the 9e17 package works perfect when installed. juss like the added boot upspeed from the efi string plus the spinning wheel is show properly.

got the string from the bottom of this link;;;;

On a fresh install of Leo4Allv3, installed latest for 7280 with the load.command reboot and stuck at bluescreen with cursor. System was booting up fine before.

Same problem here with Leo4All V3. Found any solution?

Do I need to install AGPGart for my X1950PRO AGP?

So I installed AGPGart 2.7.1 (the latest) and my card is recognized as AGP as expected.

Unfortunatly I can't get my Powercolor X1950PRO 256MB AGP dual DVI (7280 1002, revision 009a) to work properly and I don't know what to do.

If I install the latest package from you Bronya 10.5.3(9D34), it boots up but then I'm left with a blue screen, I can see the mouse and move it around but no desktop. In order to get the desktop, if I press the power button of my computer, and then back on, I get the desktop but the screen is locked up and I can't interact with the desktop.

I've tried many combinations, using previous versions of your drivers, using jccools drivers gives me control over the desktop, but no QE :)

Can you help?
