Well here is my problem I have an instal of kalyways and updated to 10.5.2 i used the driver provided here but i have no CI/QE suport nor opengl and i have a blinkink icon in the midle that says the power connector of my ati card is off. ps my card is x1950pro (7280)
thefinalprophecy
You shouldn't even need Leopard Graphics Update... You can install Bronya's driver on just a retail disc install without streamlined third-party kexts (like in kalyway release) and it'll work just fine. Devonavar
Gergo, do you have a link for the 10.4.7 IONDRVSupport.kext? The link you posted earlier is for 10.4.3, and it renders my system unbootable on startup. I'm pretty sure the correct version of this extensions is the only thing I'm missing to get a fully smooth boot, but I can't find it anywhere. G5rocks
Does i understood right? You don't need the Apple Leopard Graphics Update anyway? It will give no improvements?

Yes I did use the load.command It looks like it was using the natit driver. When I deleted nanit, it loaded with no graphic kexts. I tried to kextload atiradeonx1000.kext and rebooting but nothing happend. I tried to put your IONDRVSupport.kext and reinstalled your drivers and I'm back to where I started. If you're saying I need a different natit, which one would it be? The natit is installing from your zip file. It is in the same folder. Thanks for your help... thefinalprophecy
Miekel25 do you happen to have something plugged into the TV-out port on your card? Cuz this happened to me and it drove me crazy for a week till I found out that OS X some reason thinks that TV out is automatically the primary display. Try disconnecting the TV out from the card itself and see if it works.
Bronya
Thefinalprophecy , LOL Miekel25 , problem - it is ATIRNDRV.kext and IONDRVSupport.kext for AGP . If original ATIRNDRV.kext work normal, then you sent to me ! And i fix !
thefinalprophecy
Haha I was serious! That happens to me EVERY time I install your driver! I either have to unplug the TV out, or use the TV picture to change display over to my monitor!

lebidou
Hi Thanks to the kexts for 7280 dev_id (leo 5.1) I'm near to get my ATI Mobility x1900 to work! I can change resolution an have QE/CI enabled! As my dev_id is 7284 I needed to edit the binaries with a hex editor to change all the 8072 and 7280 to 8472 and 7284. The problem is that my screen is strangely streched, like this : Could it be because of Wormy? I have to use to get LVDS support. Can someone help me to get my display full filled? Thanks.
