We can test the drivers before you release it for the DVD, that will be good for everybody. I just got Leopard installed and can wait to see if the drivers will work. dazulrich Posted November 5, 2007 Share Posted November 5, 2007 HI, Trying to install the ToH release on my P5B-E plus with Asus 1950Pro PCI-E. System is booting, but hangs at grey screen with mouse cursor. (NOT the grey screen with Apple logo) I can't see any obvious error when booting with -v. Btw, -x doesn't help, -s gets me into terminal alright. This makes me think the problem is with the ATI card / drivers.. Any ideas - similar problems anyone? Edit: ok, I played with the Jcool package a bit and now I can see a short blue screen before it all turns grey. And no its not the blinking cursor screen - its a grey scereen with an mouse pointer. OSX is not recognizing properly my monitor, its displaying only 1400x1050 (the correct would be 1680x1050). QE/CI is working, but with mouse tearing. I`m using a 1950Pro from Powercolor, device id 0x7280. Here is the profile: Display: Type: Display Bus: PCIe VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x7280 Revision ID: 0x009a Displays: Display: Resolution: 1400 x 1050 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported So.... I guess I could live with the mouse tearing, but this resolution is really killing me. Is there any way I can manually edit this? Oh, also, I got to this resolution editing the boot file.
