voxxdigital
Which disc are you using? Did you read carefully the hardware wiki to check if your hardware is compatible? There are some OSX86 distros that comes with a login window fix as an install option (I believe JaS 10.4.8 and Uphuck 10.4.9 are among them). TheOneUnknown
Where can i get Login Window Fix?
Mega Man
It should be when you are installing Mac OS. When you are asked to choose whether or not to install certain software, there should be an option to include the intel.loginwindow.fix or something like that... Stoney3K
I seemed to have the problem WITH the fix on (as it is on by default), when reinstalling without the fix everything booted OK.
Mega Man
Really?! What happened when you installed Mac with the fix on? Did the bootsplash appear then stay there?

Mega Man
Sorry, I don't have an AMD, so I can't help you there. I think the fix was only intended for Intel because AMD's didn't have that problem? I dunno...
