Colonel
10.4.9 was released a while ago. Might want to fix that typo.
Alex Oughton
And... done. I realised that before even coming back to the thread when I kept typing 10.4.9 by mistake in an IM window. I thought "I wonder if I did that on the forum...".
GBK.Xscape
awesome, im going to update right now, this is kinda funny although it has been discussed before that 10.4.1 and 10.4.10 are exactly the same numbers

Microsuck
Updated my MacBook from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10. No problems at all. Don't update you OSX86 installation!! - the update will overwrite kernel files and the OSX86 patches will stop working correctly. Wait for an official OSX86 patch for 10.4.10 and instructions about installing it.

It works, but you have to replace the old extensions as well as some critical kernel files. Check the related forum for more information

prettymg
I tried this on my p4 3GHz, ASUS P4P800-E and it dorked up my machine. When I rebooted, all I get is a blank screeen. Any idea? Thanks MG
FUKKU
awesome, im going to update right now, this is kinda funny although it has been discussed before that 10.4.1 and 10.4.10 are exactly the same numbers Mathematically yes, but the numbers have a whole different meaning when it comes to software versions so trotting out that info was pointless. Minor revisions don't have to stop at 9. Also this update lowered my Macbook's volume. One of the updates (.4.7 or .4.8 not sure which) made it louder and now they took it back. naddy69
this is kinda funny although it has been discussed before that 10.4.1 and 10.4.10 are exactly the same numbers So ten point four point one is the same as ten point four point ten? What planet do you live on? Is 1.4.1 the same as 10.40.10? 100.400.100? These are not "numbers". They are build labels. Think strings, not numerics. Actually they are numbers, its just that the "." is not a decimal point, just a separator.

Also, I'm also victim to a strange popping noise that happens when I have it plugged into an external speaker system. These problems are really annoying. I wanna rollback to 10.4.9!!! solaar
Also this update lowered my Macbook's volume. One of the updates (.4.7 or .4.8 not sure which) made it louder and now they took it back. I've noticed that too. Really weird because the audio is definitely too low. I can watch (hear) DVDs only with VLC now as it has a volume booster up to 400%. I hope this can be fixed with a patch. hackmiester
The popping noise is OS X powering down the card to save battery. I do wish this could be disabled while the power adapter was plugged in though... D:
