Robin Williams is "supposedly" a HUGE Neon fan and has been a force in pushing the live action movie so.... Could you see him as Gendo? In a wierd, twisted way I kind of can what with some his dark(er) roles (Think One Hour Photo, which has a neon genesis model on the counter in a couple of sences). I haven't seen One Hour Photo...But I just couldn't picture him as Gendo. He's not nearly as heartless. Fuyutsuki, on the other hand, could be a likely candidate. Some of my favs are: chobits fruits baskets ghost in the shell peach girl bubblegum crisis vampire knights evangelion death note and soooo many more but I would need millions of space lol.
