dvdrsmth
When I used to have a Mac mini I really enjoyed the dot mac service and wondered if anyone is using it successfully on their hackintosh. Thanks. docmac
I don't see any reason it would not. (should be fine, but for $100, I would make sure also!) **Note: I have seen it for as low as $69 online at times! Anyone else? errandwolfe
I use it from both my hackintoshes. I had some problems under 10.4.7, but since 10.4.8 no problems at all. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/51370-mac/#findComment-367659 Share on other sites
sarahbau
Yes, you can use .Mac with a Hackintosh. You actually don't even really need a Mac at all to use it, as you can always manually upload things to it from a PC. Automatic publishing stuff like some of the iLife programs make it easier though (not sure if Backup is still part of .Mac). Basically, if you have your network working, you shouldn't have a problem with .Mac.
