iRed
I want to buy apple laptop by 600$.Can you recommend me something? I need laptop only for writting emails, internet surfing and Adobe CS2 on the road. I found this one: The Apple iBook G4/1.2 12" features a 1.2 GHz PowerPC 7447a (G4) processor with a 512k on-chip level 2 cache, 1GB of RAM 333 MHz , a 30.0 GB Ultra ATA hard drive (4200 RPM), a slot-loading 8X/24X/16X/24X DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo drive, and a 4X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics card with 32 MB of DDR SDRAM, in an ultrasleek case with a 12.1" TFT XGA active-matrix display. The iBook G4/1.2 12", is very similar to the iBook G4/1.0 12", and likewise include USB 2.0 support, but has a faster processor and ships with AirPort Extreme pre-installed. Inf3ct3d
I would search around eBay a bit maybe for a older PowerBook model. If you are using Photoshop I would not recommend the iBook for any serious editing (iBook G4 has a max screen res of 1024x768px). I Recommend searching for: PowerBook G4 Titanium or PowerBook G4 Aluminum Note: the PB G4 Aluminum might cost a bit more. Hope this helps!
