dunklerengel
Hey i was reading in some other threads that the pentium d, the coreo duo, the core2duo and the dual core, cpus doesn´t run with the cores, most of the times they just run in one core or you have to disable one core in order to run osx86. I don´t know whats the truth and i really apreciate tha you could clearme what{s exactly happening and if i can run the double core procesors with the two cores. thx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48164-dual-core/ Share on other sites

dunklerengel
hey thx for the posts most of the times all the coments help but really it was a little mix that I had because of reading quick a lot of topics about this it doesnt need so much explanation, usually the two cores didn´t work because of the kernel but i guess that the patches improved theyselves for the new kernels Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48164-dual-core/#findComment-345269 Share on other sites

I'm not sure how much more productive it could be. Desktop dual-core CPUs almost universally work in OSX86. It's only some laptop dual-cores that are having problems now.
