spacest
Would a 10.4.1 updated to 10.4.3 jive with this iTunes unibin or does it need 8F1111A? Anyword on how different cracking this build will be to the prev 10.4.3 build spliced? Def got my attention. yes i can confirm that. itunes x86 works with this setup and is 5-6 times faster while importing, than ppc emulated.
Blackice
you see, when applying a patch (like a PPF patch), you need to be sure you have the exact file the author had. This isn't the case if we use Maxxuss' patch on this new DVD iso. That's why I"m asking - can people confirm that patching this new DVD with a patch intended for the old one still works and installs fine (that is, removes TPM)? Thanks, Blackice

tetubleu
People, stop asking for link to the torrents. Links are not permitted. Figure out yourself how to find the torrent... Installed F111 on top of 1099. My Xbench drop about 30 points. All the things that went down were the graphics stuff (Quarts, OpenGL, etc). Using a D915 with the standard GMA900 graphics adapter. Same thing here....... I hope the 8F1111A or the 10.4.4 will correct that...

Slip
Hi Trying 8F1111 build with oah 10.4.3 patch. Can't figure how in TransMac and UltraISO,, made a few non bootable iso's in the past. I can covert the dmg to iso. But can't add file in Transmac. If i delete and copy in UltraISo always end up with non bootable iso. ( As image size changes) Do i have to create a new image in transmac to edit the /usr/libexec/xxx dir . Any walk through appreciated. Okay Managed it System Version: Mac OS X 10.4.3 (8F1111) Cel-Rock Dual no sound-yet.

I just discovered that Quartz and Core image are now "Not Supported" Better to go back to 8F1099 for the moment with iTunes X86...

I also get: i do not get artifacts from my ati x600 (but I was only getting them when scrolling in safair and am now using shiira). Xbench scores are lower though than 8F1099. tetubleu
iTunes X86 is working with 10.4.1 Import AIFF to AAC : 25x with my pentium 3,2 Ghz. Sounds like iTunes can't work with HT, because it uses only 100 % of my CPU ( with HT, the max is 200 % )

tetubleu
You don't need a CD, you can convert something to AIFF with iTunes and then convert to AAC. ( You can change AIFF or AAC in Preferences... )

DeathChill
Yes, it works. I tried it ! Do you want a print screen of iTunes 6.0.2 x86 running on 10.4.1 ??? Not saying you're lying just saying that as far as I know 10.4.1 cannot run any of the new applications, but maybe 8F1111 didn't block out 10.4.1. Anyway it looks like whoever said anything about 8F1111A was lying as it doesn't appear to exist. My developer cannot find it via Software Update nor could he find it off of the ADC site. Looks like it was a lie to get our hopes up so Rosetta probably doesn't support Altivec after all.

avatar69
Guys, what I am trying to figure out is: 1. - If I have 10.4.1 working fairly stably, do I need to (should I) worry about upgrading to .4.3? Is it worth it? 2. - Once I have the 10.4.3 immage, will it overwrite my 10.4.1 install or does it upgrade? 3. - Most importantly what is the most stable install out there now? 4.1 or 4.3? Which can run the largest array of programs? Thnks for the help guys....I am barrely running 4.1 semi stable and dont want to ruin it for 4.3 if its not worth it. ZX2C4
I downloaded the dmg. I converted it to iso. I ran that ppm patch on the iso. Now vmware says kernel error or something and I think the iso is unbootable. (it was bootable before). How do I make the ISO bootable?
