Soleluna-Tristan
Hi Guys, I am a brandnew User here and i still have a bigbig smile on my Face because of running JaS OSX 10.4.7 on my AMD 64 X2 System. I can use it with VMware or nativly and it works basicly. Here are my Questions in this topic... Problem:--->When i am running it with VMware it is using VESA 2.0 and i am able to run it in High Resolution (1280x1024x32) --->When i am runnig it NATIVLY it is using VESA 3.0 and it is only running in max 800x600 Question: How can i choose the VESA Version, Darwin is using? or How can i change the recognition of the possible Modes VESA 3.0 is Finding? My Graphic Card is NVIDEA 7950 GT TDH with 512 MB Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44015-vesa-versions/ Share on other sites
NeSuKuN
maybe you must specify refresh rate for vesa 3.0, I have no idea but I don't think that you can choose wich vesa ver to use Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44015-vesa-versions/#findComment-314769 Share on other sites
munky
First of all, you should upgrade to JaS 10.4.8 using the disc with 'AMD' in the name. Then you should install Natit and you should have full gfx support, resolution changing, Core Image and Quartz Extreme etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44015-vesa-versions/#findComment-314774 Share on other sites
Korrupted
I don't think he'll have much luck with Natit in this case, Munky. His card has 512MB of ram, which is generally unsupported in OSX except for like the ATI X1900-1950..
