thunder.scripts
I don't think this is remotely possible, but I have a Genius ColorPage-Vivid 4X. Are there any drivers anywhere for OS X? Genius' web site doesn't have any Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43857-genius-scanner/ Share on other sites
hecker
Yes, your scanner is fully supported. You need to install the SANE twain drivers for OSX. Drivers Page: http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/ Compatible devices list here: http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-GENIUS Simply download the following files and install them in this order: libusb SANE backends SANE Preference Pane TWAIN SANE Interface Cheers, hecker PS: SANE rules. thunder.scripts
Yes, you have to save your scanner's firmware in a specific directory (I don't remember which, it's in sane's documentation). Where to get the firmware from? Well, I installed the scanner in Windows and the driver placed the firmware file in the Windows directory. Just install the driver and search the firmware file Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43857-genius-scanner/#findComment-317788 Share on other sites
