Over the years I can count all the times Ive called Apple on my left hand,... right hand,... and all my fingers and toes. Okay, Not that much, but I have called alot, even for some simple questions, and Ive never had a bad call.

I called 7 times total, and only 1 was covered under Apple-Care. All the others were 5-10 minute questions about simple stuff when i was still an OS X noob, and everytime I called, all it took was a simple explanation that I was only a kid who wasnt about to pay for 7 days of phone help ($50), and they would answer my questions.

Ive only sent back my iMac once, and i had it back within 2 days (Logic Board) without an issue, and I also sent back my iPod 5G dude to a loose clickwheel, and It was in my PO box a week later (during the christmas season).

Since Ive seen so many forum threads dealing with apple service, I thought i might ask you to rate your experience and how satified you are/were/am.

i have only called once, and that was to get my g3's logicboard replaced. they where helpfull, and i got my computer back in 2 days. they also told me to get a mbp when it came out, the guy was playing around on a pre production unit and said it was good

I dont know if this counts as customer support, but when I firs t got my iMac, I asked for 1Gb RAM, by the time I got back to the car, almost a mile away (my apple store in a huge mall) I relize they didn't add the RAM, they did take some money off the upgrade and a guy with a cart came with us to drag the computer along

Been having battery problems, I got in contact with Apple had a nice fast response, within two minutes of sending an email I had a call from Executive Relations Europe and a new battery is on its way to me.

So a Thumbs up from me on Apples Support.

There are a few other Issues like small gaps in case and some backlight bleeding, I tried to blag a replacement but it appears they only will replace a machine if it has a repair history. At this time I cant be without the machine so I got a case number and am going to book it in for repair when its convenient.

My ipod Nano 1st Gen broke with the screen problem with the first batch and Apple gave me another one,

My iPod Nano 2nd made noices when the headphone where out / the genius couldnt explain it but i did get a replacement.

My iPod 3G had a defective battery meaning it would only turn on for 10 mins, wasnt replaced and they told me to pay £80 to get it fixed but another £80 would have got me a new iPod
