DJConvict
Thank you DaemonES and MadInt! We owe you big time! Finally I can ditch that Realtek and use my onboard nic. I have been running this driver for a couple of days now and it works great. No crashes under heavy load, DHCP works, no KPs, or shutdown/restart problems. ________________________ SERBIA - BOG JE SA NAMA

Signal64
Hi, here is a .pkg of the last version of the kext posted here... Hope it helps some one.. Thanks to DaemonES and MadInt (again!) I'm only seeing one issue with these on an ASUS P5E-VM HDMI motherboard with a Leo4AllR3 10.5.2 install. As reported by others, there is an issue with the driver not working correctly when coming back from sleep. The /var/log/system.log looks like: May 25 09:09:03 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: System Doze May 25 09:09:18 alans-macpro31 configd[52]: setting hostname to "alans-macpro31.local" May 25 09:09:19 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:09:28: --- last message repeated 2 times --- May 25 09:09:28 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=26): Can't assign requested address May 25 09:09:36 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:10:06: --- last message repeated 20 times --- May 25 09:10:09 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:10:33: --- last message repeated 5 times --- May 25 09:10:33 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=23): No route to host May 25 09:10:35 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:11:05: --- last message repeated 5 times --- May 25 09:11:23 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:11:39: --- last message repeated 2 times --- May 25 09:11:39 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=23): No route to host May 25 09:11:45 alans-macpro31 kernel[0]: [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 May 25 09:12:15: --- last message repeated 2 times --- May 25 09:12:44 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=23): No route to host May 25 09:13:47 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=23): No route to host May 25 09:14:52 alans-macpro31 ntpd[33]: sendto(17.72.133.42) (fd=23): No route to host Otherwise it's been very quick and stable. I used Auto Negotiate and it DHCP'd and determined the 1000baseT Full-Duplex correctly. Is there a possible resolution to the sleep issue?

Signal64
solaris2k8 - Just use the package Jimmy posted in post #342 of this thread. It handles the install of the kext files for you. Still issues with sleep on two systems.. not sure if there is a way to unload/load the driver on system sleep/wake.

Thank you in advance Hi, I had the same " resuming from sleep " problem with a 3Com NIC and other I do not remember the model. I had to wait a little to it to "refresh" the conection, you can manualy refresh it in the NIC´s advanced controls, renew IP... C ya! The problem seems to be with OSX,
nikeita
the driver do the job very well, except it stop working when wake-up from a resume/sleep state. any workaround? i'm on 10.5.2... thx
Signal64
After a system sleep and wake, I waited 30 minutes and tried to renew the ip as a test. Didn't work. Seems the driver goes into a corrupted state with the following in /var/log/system.log [AttansicL1Ethernet] Error: >>> rx exception: status = 0x65700011 This is with the lasted drivers kindly packaged by Jimmy Mallmann in post #342 of this thread.
