macimesser
Attached the ethernet kext (took it from the iATKOS DVD, it's an installer) you might want to click on the "+" button in the Network screen to add your ethernet connection Thank you, but it unfortunately does´nt work for me, because my vaio has a marvell yukon chip. But I try the marvell package from iatkos and it did´nt work to.

JeroenJ
For those of you who are looking to get the battery icon working in Leopard (EFI + vanilla kernel), stop looking I've attached AppleACPIPlatform.kext, which gives you the battery icon back Installation instructions: OK here it goes with full instructions: I will use terminal for all actions, put the modified kext in a folder called "a" on root folder. 1- remove the stock AppleACPIPlatform.kext from /System/Library/Extensions ~sudo -s ~ rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext 2- copy the modified kext to Extensions folder ~ cp -R /a/AppleACPIPlatform.kext /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext 3- Repair Permissions of the kext file ~ chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext ~ chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext 5- Repair General permissions ~ diskutil repairPermissions / 6- reboot I found it somewhere at the iATKOS forums! dunno from who it was so I can't credit him (or her ) Enjoy AppleACPIPlatform.kext.zip

JeroenJ
For those of you that want to get tapping working on their Alps touchpads (dunno if it works on other touchpads), you may try out the attached kext! I've been using it for some time and it works great! It also adds support for two finger scrollin (like on real Mac's) but it doesn't work that good for me! (you can disable it ) Installation: I will use terminal for all actions, put the modified kext in a folder called "a" on root folder. 1- remove the stock ApplePS2Controller.kext from /System/Library/Extensions sudo -s rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext 2- copy the modified kext to Extensions folder cp -R /a/ApplePS2Controller.kext /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext 3- Repair Permissions of the kext file chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext 5- Repair General permissions diskutil repairPermissions / 6- reboot I think most of the current VAIO's are using Alps touchpads! The FE series certainly does ApplePS2Controller.kext.zip
