Macworld 2007: Behind The Scenes

few hours to go so i thought I'd record my predictions just to record how wrong i was:

1) No iPhone. Or at least not what we think of as a phone. I think moving into Phones will be a mistake for apple, much better to go into home AV/Entertainment market.

2) iTV and more wifi everywhere

3) Possible HDTV

4) lots and lots of new OSX stuff, including bootcamp (vista drivers) and a maybe a new 'black glass' vista killer skin.

5) WiFi iPod, possible wide screen

6) ultra portable (12"?) macbook pro

7) new Mac Pro

Strategy wise if it was me... stay out of phones they are not right for Apple, go home entertainment, don't make 'fat' multi function devices that do everything e.g. PDA or tablet, make tiny single functions devices that connect and talk to each other via wi-fi, stick a few of em in your pocket and they all work together.

there is no such feature in osx, but windoze have.... .. . .. . . .. why ???

I think Leopard is a given. Probably get it out of the way in the keynote and let us know all the info on it, then move to the announcements. iPhone? Well I don't know about this, but it would be great if they did do this. A new ipod is NOT a thing to role out here when the improved video version just came out a little bit ago. iTv? I am not really sold on this, but I don't need a stream media center. Though The more Apple gets into the bigger the company is.
