I got money from my mother and from my aunt. My father hasn't given me any gifts since I was a child, but that is just the way he is, he is not a bad person.

From my sister I got an aftershave and some other little presents.

I never see the rest of my family (uncles, aunts and cousins)

I didn't buy myself anything, but I have been very generous with myself during 2006 (and in 2007 I might buy a real Mac)

I unwrapped one of my gifts to get an official apple ipod leather carry case. ow! expensive and pointless i thought! Fantastic! Opened the box!

Empty apart from a warranty notice.

Hopefully they will sort it out.

Lots of the usual stuff. For tech, wife and I got a Sony DSC-T50 digital camera. I did buy a 22" Viewsonic monitor for the hackintosh, but thats going back to Staples because two of the built in speakers don't work.

Dell Canada had a boxing day sale, so I bought two 22" Widescreen Dells @ $299CAD a pop/free shipping.

The big items my kids got was some Playmobil sets. The RC train and the Princess castle.

My wife was very nice to me this year (not sure why) but she got me a new iPod Video 30GB Black to replace my dying 10GB iPod (3rd Gen I think), a Novation Remote Zero SL and a new pro sound card.

Best thing is I got my hackintosh working! Bad thing is I had to return the sound card since it was PCI. But the good thing is I got a Focusrite Saffire LE to replace it ;)

Overall a very good Christmas.

Santa was great to me. =)

I got an Intel iMac g5:

2.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo

2 GB of Ram

150 GB HDD

andd:

iPod G5.5

30 GB Black.

So my hackintosh is rotting in the basement. And my old iPod 4G (Grayscale) has been claimed by my dad.

My brothers got an iPod 30 GB white, and an iPod shuffle. Seems that our family is steadily becoming Mac Based. =)

i had a great christmas this year. i got a gig of ram for my mbp (to make my mbp have 2gb ram, dual channel owns), a new gaming headset which has amazing headphones that make my music sound amazing, and a 500gb external firewire disk! i have no idea what ill fill it up with, lol theres so much space. my brother and i also got a wii, so my brother, my dad, and i all played wii sports bowling a lot. it was fun, and zelda owns. :hysterical: also, on pspupdates.qj.net, i saw an article of a custom firmware for the psp(3.02 OE-:P that lets you have all the homebrew (snes, nes, gbc, genesis emulators among new games, its what i use the psp for), the updated browser and capabilities of the newest firmwares, and the ability to make any ps1 game run full speed on the psp. so basically another great (free) gift i received was the ability to play all of the old playstation games again anywhere i am. for anyone with a psp, check out that site and hope to god your psp's motherboard isnt a TA-082 :hysterical:

it was a great christmas!
