We've heard from a lot of you that Mac-related gifts were at the top of your wish list this Christmas. :hysterical:

Did you get everything you want? Here's your chance to gloat about all your gifts. Don't gloat too much, though - the fat man just started his list for next year, and you know he'll be checking it twice.

(I got a Craftsman tool set, but that's what I asked for. Talk about old school tech...)

I got an Apple Radio Remote for my iPod so I could listen to FM radio when I'm on-the-go incase my MP3 playlist gets a little boring. I also got an iHome iH5B Radio, but I'll have to return it due to a faulty IR receiver for its remote.

I received some I.O.U. money for a future purchase of the Apple cellphone as soon as it becomes available. :(

Don't you have wooden shoes in Holland? smile.gif

Well, yeah. Kinda.

Only farmers in my province really wear them.

But I didn't even get those for Christmas >_>.

I guess Christmas with presents is more of an American culture thingy ^_^.

I want an iPod too...

All this playing around with OSX86 got me to finally bite the bullet and get myself a nice Mac Pro 2.66ghz :dev: , as well as the Radeon x1900 video card for it, an additional 2gb or RAM, and a 250gb SATA HDD that was on sale at CompUSA for $59.99 after $30.00 instant and savings and $50.00 Man. Rebate. I took advantage of my Military discount (8%0 on most items in Apple store - including systems and 12% off of Apple Care) as well as my proximity to New Hampshire and saved myself quite a bit of cash.

I really like my new Mac Pro. It kicks some serious butt and runs Windows XP a lot better than my old P4 3.4ghz Sager 9860 ever did. Now, as for my credit card bill which I'll be getting soon ^_^ I'll just have to find me a higher paying contracting job ;) Know anyone looking for a good SAP SD/SC consultant :D

I got a 2GB iPod Nano and a new G3 iMac (400Mhz) with OS 9.2.2. It's brand new, and works great.

I got a rock... :(

That reminds me of something wierd that I got. It's not Apple-related, but I got about 10 lbs of beef jerky. There were a lot of boxes under the tree, but they were all basically filled with Jack Link's Jalapeno Jerky, teriachi jerky, peppered jerky, normal jerky, etc. I like it though. I should last me a year. The stuff doesn't go bad, and it'd delicious. For the past few weeks, my friends and family told me not to buy any jerky, and now I know why. :P

Had less under the tree than usual yesterday because I got my MacBook Pro about a month ago. Woot woot.

Gears of War was the big thing. Got $75 in Best Buy gift cards, $25 from grandparents, $100 from really close family friend (:thanks_speechbubble:), and a $15 iTunes gift card. Also bought Splinter Cell: DA today with the Best Buy cards.

So overall not the most exciting Christmas in recent memory, but it was great anyway. Spent the last two days playing Gears of War. :)

Well, you Dutch people exchange presents for Sinterklaas, on the 5th of December (not expensive ones, though. Or was it because I was living with students?)

That is why you hardly celebrate Christmas :)

I wouldn't say that Christmas with presents is an American tradition. Here in Italy it has "always" existed.
