cRACKmONKEY421
I recently wanted to try out 3d acceleration in OS X, so I did a fresh OS X installation using JaS's DVD with version 10.4.4 ( I thought it'd be pointless to apply the 10.4.6 patches on the DVD). Right after that I installed JaS.10.4.8.Intel.SSE2.SemtheX.Beta9. Works fine and the System Profiler reads the correct system and kernel versions. Then I tried installing Titan.kext. That caused no panic, and nothing changed--I couldn't change resolutions still. So I tried moving the GeForce.kext, editing the plist file with my device ID and putting it back according to another guide found here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=32519 . Still I get no panics or anything but nothing changed... still can't change my resolution and I have no 3d acceleration. Any ideas? Do I need to install anything that I didn't install? Rammjet
The device ids in Titan only seem to support the 5xxx cards. NVDAResman.kext is missing a lot of device id support. You might need to add your device id to the Titan.kext and the NVDAResman.kext to get your card working.
