cmaus@mac.com
Hello everyone, I am running the RTM of Vista (German) ULTIMATE I tried to use the latest BootCamp-iSight Driver .inf-file, it get's installed, sometimes with error 10, sometimes without any errors, but I can't ever use it correctly. No matter how many restarts I let my Mac do. And solutions? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36174-no-isight-driver-in-vista-rtm/ Share on other sites
Corky
go back to update driver then browse, then select driver from a list, here you will see a default usb cam and isight driver. Select the isight driver and bobs ya uncle! cmaus@mac.com
Still does not work! If I update the driver the way you told, it gets installed with Error 10. Then, if I update it again, it gets installed without any errors. But anyways, if I use for example Skype, I can choose the iSight as video source, but it doesn't turn on. TheoCryst
The iSight driver released with Boot Camp 1.1.2 is incompatible with Vista; ergo, there is no way to get it to work until Apple officially supports Vista with their Boot Camp drivers (If I'm wrong, by all means correct me). kop48
They kind of work for me. Get a bunch of 'in use' errors, but they DO work... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36174-no-isight-driver-in-vista-rtm/#findComment-260873 Share on other sites
