Mutenroy
I'm about to change my Athlon XP 3200. I've been reading a lot of posts in this forum to find a good configuration for running OS X on my PC, and a I choosed this: - CPU: Intel P4 3,0GHz with SSE3. - Motherboard: AsRock 775Dual-915GL Intel, socket775. Now I have 1Gb RAM DDR and ATI Radeon 9600 Pro AGP 256Mb. What do you think? Will I have any problem? If there is some problem with my graphic card, what about an ATI Radeon x700 PCI Express 256Mb? I have other question about QE and CI, what is it? Is it necessary? Well, that's all (for now). I'm waiting your answers. Thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3615-my-new-configuration/ Share on other sites

Thanks a lot Do not use any ATI/NVIDIA card, use the onboard VGA from the MOBO (it's only one supported by OSX86), then Graphics will work fine. QE: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/quartzextreme/ CI: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/coreimage/ Sure it's necessary if you want to have a MAC with full graphics support Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3615-my-new-configuration/#findComment-22839 Share on other sites
Mutenroy
Do I enable the onboard graphic card in the BIOS? And I want to use a dual boot (OS X / WinXP), will the onboard graphic card work in XP? I'll use the XP only for games and programs I can't find for OS X (like the software for my Motorola cell phone). Could I use my Radeon in XP and the onboard graphic card in OS X? How? ASRock 775Dual Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3615-my-new-configuration/#findComment-22841 Share on other sites
